Meet the Founder!
Hi! I'm Grace von Schack. Growing up among a family of storytellers, I recognized the value of lessons learned from other's experiences, and so, I created Project: My Story.
Who are we?
Partnering with NCL, Monterey Bay, and Alliance on Aging in Monterey, we are expanding the storytelling experience to others in our community.
How does the process work?
Seniors preview interview questions and reflect on the areas of interest for discussion.
Determine date/time/location of interview(s). We’ll meet in a quiet space such as a local library, coffee shop or shared community room in a residential care facility.
Conduct Interviews.
The My Story Team will write up a report from the interview and return to the interviewee for their enjoyment and to share with their family and friends.
